Our Swiss partner Suncrest has recently delivered an impressive project in Basel. Housing cooperative Reuss wanted to use more renewable energy and therefore invested in solar energy. Thus, they ended up at Suncrest, a specialist in the field of solar energy.
The Swiss housing cooperative, wanted to have the whole roof surface of one of their complexes covered with solar panels. The large roof surface and the height of the building made this a very challenging project.
Reuss and Suncrest have chosen to install the 992 JA Solar Monocrystalline with the GSE in-roof system. It is because of the landscape installation that the whole surface of the roof is being utilized. The installers used Solis inverters, because these have multiple MPP-trackers. Therefore the Solis inverters are very suitable for roof surfaces with various orientations.
Suncrest took various safety measures for the installation of the solar panels. As you can see in the pictures, Suncrest has placed special scaffoldings around the whole building. Safety first!
